Itinerary

1. Hotel Pickup

   Pickup from your hotel at 09:30–09:45 with air-conditioned vehicle.

2. Pigeon Valley Viewpoint

   Enjoy the influential view of Uçhisar Castle and thousands of hand-carved pigeon houses inside the rocks. Learn about the important role pigeons played in Cappadocia history.

3. Kaymaklı Underground City

   Explore the multi-layer, hand-carved underground construction with storage rooms, narrow tunnels, rolled rock doors, churches, stables, ventilation shafts and vineries. Follow Blue Arrows to go out, Red Arrows to go deeper.

4. Ihlara Valley Trekking

   Descend into the deepest point of Turkey's biggest canyon. Walk alongside the Melendiz River for about 1 hour, visiting Greek Orthodox Churches and feeling the silence of nature and history.

5. Riverside Lunch

   Enjoy delicious traditional food served in hand-made clay pots at one of Cappadocia's most unique riverside restaurants. Relax on the river sofas after your meal.

6. Yaprakhisar Fairy Chimneys

   Visit the village where some claim Star Wars scenes were filmed. Explore hand-carved caves and take amazing photos in this otherworldly landscape.

7. Selime Monastery Overview

   Overlook the magnificent Selime Monastery (Cathedral) and the Tomb of Seljuk Sultans.

8. Return to Hotel

   Drop-off at your hotel by 18:00–18:30.
